My life so far...

I love to read. Like...a disturbing amount. In 2019, I'd been reading romance books for about 4 years, and I had a hankering for a certain type of book. Sassy, confident teenage girl with quirks and the boy who steals her heart and also plays chess. Do you know how hard that is to find?

I used to write short stories when I was younger, and I even wrote two children's books after my eldest son was born, so I figured, can't be too hard, right? It was harder than I thought, but oh, so enjoyable. I laughed at my own jokes, and even though my husband swore no one else would, I put my work out in the Amazon universe and lo and behold, my husband was proven wrong.

I write because I love it; it's cathartic and fun. But I continue to publish because of you. Thank you, from the bottom of my sarcastic cold heart, for giving me the opportunity to make you laugh, introduce you to characters you can sympathize with, and provide an escape from reality.
